"Bovril" is a distinct brand created by John Lawson Johnston in the 1890s.
Visiting an Antique Fair a couple of years ago, Paul came across a Bovril bottle dating back to the Edwardian or late Victorian-era. He was fascinated by its shape, so bought it. Several more were obtained online and he found there was a subtle difference in colour and shape between each bottle,. That difference was the inspiration for this image.
