Collection: Margaret Mallows – Artist

Margaret has enjoyed drawing and painting from an early age.  Her first job after leaving school at the age of 16 was working in an art shop for artist, Dennis Syrett.  Dennis encouraged her to pursue her artistic talent and in her teenage years she exhibited at the Mall Galleries in London.

Life then became very busy with work and raising a family, however, her love for hand-made prints developed and Margaret now focusses on reduction method lino-printing and dry point etching.  

Her inspiration comes from the world around her with her own twist of humour!  Margaret is a member of Peterborough Artists' Open Studios.
